We never ask for your login code, your cloud password, or payment — and no one legitimate ever will.

Owner-only
Every step here is for recovering your own account, never anyone else's.
Official channels only
The Telegram apps, t.me, @SpamBot, your recovery email, and [email protected].
We never ask for your code
A real recovery never needs the login code you receive — sharing it is the takeover.
No 2FA bypass
No 'password remover' or interception tool exists; we won't point you at one.
No pay-to-guarantee
Telegram has no paid fast-lane; a guaranteed result for money is a scam.
Nothing to hand over
This is guidance only — we collect no codes, passwords, or account access.

You can confirm every path here inside Telegram itself: Settings > Privacy and Security > Two-Step Verification, and Settings > Devices.

Dead ends and the way forward

Six things people try when recovery stalls — and the official path that actually moves you forward

✗ Asking a 'recovery specialist' to receive or send you a new login codeOnly Telegram issues your code, and it only ever goes to your number or your own logged-in sessions. Anyone asking you to forward the code you receive is running the exact phishing that hijacks accounts.
→ Request the code yourself in the app. Read it from an existing Telegram session first (it's delivered there before SMS or a call), and never type it anywhere but Telegram's own login screen.
✗ Buying a '2FA remover' or cloud-password bypass toolThe Two-Step Verification password cannot be removed without the password itself or its recovery email. Every tool claiming otherwise is a scam or malware harvesting your data.
→ Use the recovery-email hint shown on the cloud-password screen, or — if no email was ever set — Telegram's built-in 7-day reset, understanding it deletes the account and its cloud chats.
✗ Re-entering the login code again and again hoping one 'sticks'Wrong or already-expired codes entered repeatedly trigger a temporary login block, and every attempt during that window also fails — which feels like the code is broken.
→ Stop, wait out the cooldown, then request one single fresh code and enter it from your logged-in session or newest SMS, not an older message.
✗ Trying to 'restore' chats from a deleted or self-destructed accountAccount deletion is irreversible, and cloud chats are stored with the account — they're gone when it is. No service can bring purged data back.
→ There is no data recovery for a deleted account. You can only re-register the freed phone number as a brand-new, empty account.
✗ Asking your carrier to clone or duplicate the old SIM to catch the codeSIM-swap is precisely how attackers take over accounts, and Telegram treats an unexpected number change as a compromise signal.
→ Reactivate or port your own number legitimately through your carrier, then log in and immediately review Settings > Devices / Active Sessions for anything you don't recognize.
✗ Paying someone who 'guarantees' your account back within 24 hoursTelegram offers no paid priority lane and no partner who can guarantee an outcome, so the guarantee itself is proof the offer is fraudulent.
→ Appeal a termination for free at [email protected], or check limits with @SpamBot. Expect an honest wait of days, and judge the result against reality, not a promise.

How it works

  1. 1
    Name the exact blocker
Match the on-screen error to a single symptom instead of retrying blindly.
⏱ 2–5 minutes · You can say precisely which screen you're stuck on: code, password, email, countdown, limit, or ban.
  2. 2
    Request one fresh login code
Telegram delivers the code to a logged-in session first, then by SMS, then by a phone call.
⏱ instant to a few minutes · A 5-digit code appears in an open Telegram app, or arrives by SMS or an automated call.
  3. 3
    Clear the cloud-password wall
If a Two-Step Verification password is required, use the recovery-email hint shown on that screen.
⏱ 5–30 minutes · A password-reset link reaches the exact recovery inbox the hint points to.
  4. 4
    Decide on the 7-day reset
With no password and no recovery email, Telegram offers a reset that deletes the account after the wait.
⏱ 7 days · A countdown that ends by wiping the account and freeing the number as an empty new one — cloud chats are lost.
  5. 5
    Lift a limit via @SpamBot
If you can log in but sending or joining is blocked, open @SpamBot in Telegram to check and appeal the restriction.
⏱ minutes to a few days · @SpamBot states your current status or confirms it has accepted your appeal.
  6. 6
    Appeal a termination
For a deactivated or terminated account, email [email protected] with a single, clear request.
⏱ several days to weeks · A human reply from Telegram support addressing your number and case.
  7. 7
    Wait, then follow up once
Give the official flow time and send at most one calm follow-up rather than repeating.
⏱ varies by case · Access is restored, or you receive a definitive official answer.

Telegram publishes no fixed recovery SLA. Real replies commonly take days and sometimes weeks. Anyone promising a guaranteed 24-hour result — especially for money — is running a scam; walk away.

Realistic odds by situation — honest bands, not probabilities or promises

Login code won't arrive, but you still control the number
high
+ Another device still logged into Telegram; a SIM that can receive SMS or calls; decent signal. − Roaming restrictions, a deactivated SIM, or a carrier aggressively filtering short-code SMS.
Forgot the cloud password, but the recovery email still works
high
+ Access to the recovery inbox shown as a hint on the password screen. − The hint points to an email address you can no longer open.
Forgot the cloud password, no recovery email was ever set
low
+ Nothing shortcuts this — only the 7-day reset, which deletes the account and its cloud chats. − Needing those old chats back; the reset cannot preserve any of them.
Number permanently lost, 2FA on, no other logged-in session
low
+ Re-acquiring the exact same phone number from your carrier. − The number has been reassigned to someone else and is unrecoverable.
Account limited or restricted (you can still log in)
medium
+ A polite, specific appeal to @SpamBot and stopping the behavior that triggered it. − Repeat or severe violations, or heavy mass-reporting against the account.
Account terminated — appealing to [email protected]
medium
+ Clearly owning the number and giving a concise, honest explanation. − The termination followed a real, serious Terms of Service breach.

These bands describe how Telegram's official flows tend to behave — they are not percentages, odds, or guarantees. No one can guarantee recovery, and self-deleted or terminated-and-purged accounts, together with their cloud chats, cannot be brought back.

FAQ

Can someone just send me a new login code or log in for me to fix this faster?
No — and anyone offering to is the danger, not the fix. Your Telegram login code can only be generated by Telegram, and it only ever goes to your own number or an existing session on your own devices. There is no legitimate way for a 'specialist,' a friend, or a paid service to receive it for you, and the moment you forward a code you get, the account is theirs. This page helps only you, the account owner, finish Telegram's official recovery for your own account. It will never ask for your login code, your cloud password, or a payment — and neither should anyone else.
'Invalid code' keeps appearing even though I'm sure I typed it right.
Two things usually cause this. First, delivery order: Telegram sends the code to any Telegram app you're still logged into first, then by SMS, then by an automated call — so the SMS may be an older, now-expired code while the fresh one is sitting in an open app. Second, entering wrong or expired codes several times triggers a temporary login cooldown, and every attempt during it also fails. Stop, wait out the cooldown, request one new code, and read it from your logged-in session if you have one before touching the SMS.
I forgot my cloud password and the recovery email isn't coming.
The cloud-password screen shows a hint of the recovery email you set — check that exact inbox, including spam and any forwarding rules. If the hint points to an address you still control but nothing arrives, wait a few minutes and request the reset link again, as email can lag. If you never set a recovery email, no tool can remove the password; your only official route is Telegram's 7-day account reset, and you must accept that it deletes the account along with its cloud chats before the number is freed for a fresh start.
My reset countdown looks like it restarted — did I break something?
The reset timer isn't a bug you triggered. It cancels or restarts whenever the account is accessed during the wait — for example, someone logs in from an existing session, or a cancel request is sent. If you didn't do that and still have Two-Step Verification on, treat it as a sign the account may be actively held by someone else, and check Settings > Devices for sessions you don't recognize as soon as you regain entry.
Telegram hasn't replied to my appeal — how long is normal?
For a terminated account, appeals go to [email protected], and replies commonly take several days and sometimes longer — there is no published deadline. Send one clear, honest message that states your number and what happened, then wait; sending repeats or multiple emails tends to slow you down rather than speed you up. If you can still log in but are limited, use @SpamBot instead, which often responds within a day.
Should I pay a service that guarantees my account back?
Walk away. Telegram has no paid fast-lane and no partner who can guarantee recovery, so a guarantee is proof the offer is fake. The realistic outcomes are the free official ones on this page. Any 'fix' that asks for your login code, your cloud password, or money for a guaranteed result is a scam — that is the single clearest warning sign you will ever get.

Still stuck? Escalate the right way, not the risky way

Work down the ladder from your exact symptom rather than retrying the same screen. If the official flows haven't resolved it yet, the answer is to give Telegram time and send one clear follow-up — never to hand your login code, your cloud password, or money to anyone promising a shortcut. No shortcut bypasses Telegram's verification, and every one of those requests is the scam, every single time.
