Recover a deleted Telegram account: the honest answer

If you deliberately deleted your Telegram account — or a 7-day account reset finished — the account and all of its cloud chats are permanently erased from Telegram's servers, and no service, tool, or 'specialist' can bring them back. That isn't a limit we can work around; it's how deletion is built. Here's what's actually real: how to tell the recovery scams apart, the one reset you can still cancel, and how to re-register your number and salvage what remains.

See what still worksSpot the recovery scam
Owner-only, always
We only ever help you into your own account, through Telegram's own channels — never anyone else's.
We never ask for your code
The one-time login code stays in your app; sharing it is how accounts get stolen, not saved.
No bypass tools
No 2FA 'removers', no SMS/OTP interception, no session hijacking — none exist here or work safely anywhere.
No false promises
If something is impossible — like undeleting an account — we say so instead of selling it.
Nothing to retain
We don't collect your codes, passwords, or chats, so there's nothing to leak or lose.

Every step here points to the official Telegram app, t.me, @SpamBot, or Telegram's recovery email — verify each one yourself before acting.

0 recovery services
No tool, insider, or 'specialist' can undelete a deleted Telegram account — deletion wipes it from Telegram's servers.
7 day window
If you started an account reset and it hasn't fired yet, logging back in before the timer ends cancels it — the reset only proceeds while you stay locked out.
~1 minute
Re-registering your same number as a fresh account takes about as long as any first sign-in — but it starts completely empty.
3 official code channels
In-app session, then SMS, then a call. The login code is the only key, and Telegram never asks you to share it.

These figures describe how Telegram actually works, not a service outcome. A deliberately deleted account and its cloud chats cannot be brought back by anyone — this page exists to say so plainly and point you to what still works. We will not take money to attempt the impossible.

What no one can do — including us

⛔ Undelete a deleted account
When you confirm deletion (or a 7-day reset completes), Telegram erases the account and every cloud-stored chat from its servers by design. There is no soft-delete, trash, or backup to restore from — deletion means deletion.
→ Re-register the same phone number in the official app to create a fresh, empty account, then rebuild your contacts and groups.
⛔ Bring back your old cloud chats
Cloud message history lives on Telegram's servers, tied to the account. Once the account is gone, so is that history — it is not mirrored with any third party who could hand it back.
→ Ask trusted contacts to forward the messages and media you exchanged; those still sit in their own copies of the chat.
⛔ Ask you for your login code
The one-time login code is the master key to a Telegram account. Anyone who asks you to read it out — 'to recover your account' — is taking the account over, not recovering it. That is the takeover method itself.
→ Enter the code only in the official Telegram app, on the screen that requested it. We never see it and never need it.
⛔ Touch an account that isn't yours
Owner-only is not a rule we can waive — it is exactly what keeps your own account safe. We have no way into any account, and we will not attempt one.
→ If it's your number, prove ownership the way Telegram does: receive the login code on your SIM or an existing signed-in session.
⛔ Guarantee recovery for a fee
Charging to 'attempt the impossible' is the scam pattern in one sentence. A deleted account has no recovery path, so there is nothing legitimate to sell.
→ Spend nothing on 'undeletion.' Put that effort into re-registering and securing the new account with Two-Step Verification and a recovery email.

Dead ends and the way forward

If your account is already deleted

✗ Paying a 'Telegram recovery specialist' or bot to restore itThere is no server-side data left to recover, so a paid 'specialist' is either lying or phishing the login code for your new account.
→ Re-register your number in the official app: enter the number, receive the login code (in-app session first, then SMS, then call), set up a fresh account.
✗ Reinstalling Telegram to 'find' the old chats againCloud chats download from Telegram's servers on login. If the account is deleted, there is nothing on the server to sync back down.
→ Check your phone's Photos and any Downloads/Telegram folder for media Telegram auto-saved locally — those files survive independently of the account.
✗ Emailing [email protected] to undo the deletionThat address handles termination and ban appeals, not deletion reversal — Telegram cannot restore an account its own user deleted.
→ Use [email protected] only if Telegram terminated your account, not if you deleted it yourself — see the termination-appeal page.
✗ Finishing a '7-day reset' to get past a forgotten cloud passwordThe reset never unlocks the old account — it deletes it and starts a brand-new one, taking every cloud chat with it.
→ Before the timer fires, re-enter your Two-Step Verification password, or use the recovery-email hint shown on the cloud-password screen to reset it.
✗ Waiting for the account to 'come back on its own'Deletion is final and immediate once confirmed; there is no cooling-off period or grace window after it completes.
→ Move forward: re-register the number, then open Settings > Privacy and Security > Two-Step Verification and add a recovery email so this can't happen unnoticed again.

FAQ

Can you recover my deleted Telegram account?
No — and neither can anyone else. When a Telegram account is deleted, whether you confirmed it manually or a 7-day reset completed, Telegram removes the account and all of its cloud chats from its servers by design. There is no backup, trash, or 'undelete' function. Any service that takes money to restore a deleted account is running a scam. What you genuinely can do is re-register the same phone number to create a fresh account and rebuild from there.
Can you get into the account for me if I give you my phone number and the login code?
Absolutely not, and please never give that code to anyone. The one-time login code is the single key to a Telegram account, and 'read me the code so I can recover it' is exactly how accounts are stolen — that is the takeover, not a recovery. We only ever help you reach your own account through the official app, and even then the code is entered by you, on Telegram's own screen. We never see it, never ask for it, and never need it. We also have no access to any account that isn't yours.
I deleted it by accident an hour ago — is there a grace period?
No. Manual deletion is immediate and final once confirmed; there is no cooling-off window afterward. The only cancellable case is a pending 7-day account reset that hasn't fired yet — logging back in before the timer ends stops it. If the deletion has already completed, the constructive move is to re-register the number for a fresh start.
If I re-register my old number, do my chats come back?
No. Re-registering creates a brand-new, empty account on that number. Your old contacts, groups, and cloud message history do not return. You can rejoin groups, re-add contacts, and ask people to forward the messages and media you had exchanged, since those still exist in their copies of the chat.
Is any of my media recoverable?
Not from Telegram's servers, but often from your own device. Media that Telegram auto-saved to your phone's Photos, or into a Downloads/Telegram folder, lives there independently of the account. Check local storage on any phone or desktop where you used Telegram before deleting — those files may still be sitting locally.
How do I make sure this never happens silently again?
After re-registering, open Settings > Privacy and Security > Two-Step Verification and set a cloud password with a recovery email, then review Settings > Devices to see your active sessions. Also check Settings > Privacy and Security > Delete my account if away, so an inactivity self-destruct can't quietly remove the account while you're not looking.

Deleted means deleted — so make the next account safer

There is no honest path back to a deliberately deleted Telegram account, and anyone selling one is selling a lie. The constructive move is forward: re-register your phone number in the official app, receive your login code (in-app session first, then SMS, then a call), and rebuild. Then lock it down — set Two-Step Verification with a recovery email under Settings > Privacy and Security, and check your active sessions under Settings > Devices — so nothing silently disappears on you again. And if you're not certain you deleted it yourself, it's worth confirming whether Telegram terminated it instead, because that case has a real appeal path.
