Telegram termination & ban appeals — owner only

Appeal a terminated or banned Telegram account

If your own Telegram account was permanently banned or 'terminated' for a rules violation, there is one legitimate path: a free, honest appeal to Telegram's official channel. Here's exactly how to send it, how to tell a real ban from a soft @SpamBot limit, and why every paid 'unban service' is a scam.

See the appeal stepsWhy 'unban services' are scams
Owner-only, always
We only ever help you recover an account tied to your own phone number.
We never ask for your code
No login code, cloud password, or SIM — sharing those is exactly how accounts get stolen.
Official channels only
Everything points to Telegram's own apps, t.me, and [email protected].
Honest about outcomes
No guaranteed unban, no timelines we can't keep, and no fabricated reviews.
Nothing to hand over
The appeal is your own email to Telegram — we store no credentials because we ask for none.

Check it yourself: the appeal address is [email protected] on Telegram's own domain — no third party sits in between.

How it works

  1. 1
Confirm it's a termination, not a limit or inactivity removal
Read the exact wording on the login screen — a ban blocks login, a soft limit lets you in but flags you via @SpamBot.
⏱ 2–5 minutes · "Banned/terminated" wording on login, versus a @SpamBot limit message once inside.
  2. 2
    Gather your account facts
Note your number in full international format, which app/platform you used, and roughly when access stopped.
⏱ 5–10 minutes · A short, honest fact sheet ready to paste — no codes or passwords in it.
  3. 3
Email your appeal to [email protected]
Send one concise message from your own inbox: subject "Account termination appeal", your number, and a plain explanation.
⏱ 10–20 minutes · A sent-mail confirmation in your outbox — Telegram issues no ticket number or auto-reply.
  4. 4
    Wait for Telegram's manual review
A human on Telegram's moderation team reviews the number and the ban reason; there is no status page.
⏱ A few days to several weeks (highly variable) · A reply from Telegram, or a login that suddenly works again.
  5. 5
Answer once, then accept the decision
If they ask for detail, reply once and honestly; don't flood them with duplicate emails.
⏱ As needed · Reinstatement, a refusal, or continued silence.

Telegram publishes no SLA for appeals. There is no countdown, no ticket status, and no way to buy priority — anyone offering a guaranteed date or paid fast-track is a scam.

What no one — including us — can do

⛔ Force-lift a ban or guarantee reinstatement
Only Telegram's moderation team decides, the outcome hinges on why the number was banned, and many appeals are declined.
→ Send one clear, honest appeal to [email protected] and wait for the manual review.
⛔ Sell you an 'unban service' or paid priority
Telegram has no paid unban channel; sellers either do nothing or phish your login code and take the account for good.
→ Appeal yourself for free, and never share a login code or cloud password with anyone.
⛔ Recover cloud chats from an account already deleted
Termination and the 7-day reset wipe the account and its cloud chats server-side — no tool can pull back deleted server data.
→ If the account still exists but is banned, appeal it before it's deleted, and keep local backups going forward.
⛔ Appeal or access an account that isn't yours
We help owners only; recovering someone else's account is account theft, full stop.
→ If you lost control of your own number, contact your carrier to regain the SIM first, then appeal.
⛔ Bypass Two-Step Verification or intercept your SMS code
The cloud password and the one-time login code are the exact defenses that stop takeovers — breaking them is what attackers do.
→ Reset the cloud password with your recovery email (hinted on the password screen); the login code only ever goes to you.

FAQ

How do I know my account is terminated and not just limited?
A banned or terminated account won't let you in — the app shows "This phone number is banned" or logs you straight back out. A limited account logs in fine, but @SpamBot warns that you can't message non-contacts or join groups. Termination is appealed by email to [email protected]; a soft limit is appealed inside the app via @SpamBot. Matching the right path to your exact symptom saves you weeks.
What should I put in my appeal to [email protected]?
Keep it short and honest: your phone number in full international format (e.g. +1 555…), the app and platform you used, roughly when access stopped, and a plain explanation. Never paste your login code or cloud password into an email — Telegram never needs them there. One clear message beats ten follow-ups, which only slow the queue.
Can you just unban my account for me — or get someone else's account back?
No. We help you appeal only an account registered to your own phone number, and only through Telegram's official channel; neither we nor anyone else can force a reinstatement or reach into an account that isn't yours. Anyone selling an 'unban' or asking for your login code is running a takeover scam — that one-time code is the single key to your account, so never share it, read it out, or type it anywhere but Telegram itself.
How long does a Telegram ban appeal take?
There's no published timeline. Manual review can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, and some appeals get no reply at all. There's no ticket number, no status page, and no paid fast-track — any promise of a guaranteed date is a scam.
Should I try the 7-day account reset to get around the ban?
No — that's a different tool for a different problem. The reset (Telegram deleting the account after a 7-day wait) is for when you're locked out by a forgotten cloud password, and it destroys the account and all of its cloud chats. On a banned number it won't restore access, and it would erase any chance of recovery. Appeal first; don't delete.
My login code isn't arriving — is that part of the ban?
Not necessarily. Telegram sends the code to an existing in-app session first, then by SMS, then by voice call — so check your other logged-in devices before assuming delivery failed. If the number is genuinely banned you'll see a ban message rather than a code prompt. Never ask anyone to read a code to you, and never read one out to anyone — that's the phishing pattern behind most account theft.

One honest email beats a hundred 'unban' promises

If the banned number is yours, you already hold the only real tool: a clear, free appeal to [email protected]. It might restore your account, it might be declined, and it might go unanswered — Telegram decides, and no one can promise otherwise. What you can control is protecting the account you still have: keep your login code private, turn on Two-Step Verification with a recovery email under Settings > Privacy and Security, and walk away from anyone selling a shortcut.
